Expectations I just learned to ignore. Tried to. Not necessarily forget, but simply face the truth- that you could only getthisclose to perfection because it is too far off any level of attainment. But how to go on, when reality has driven me down such a long, complex road of dissatisfaction?

Rozette Manalang Ignacio you ARE 18 now! Omg you’re my age now. Lol I want to say Happy Birthday to you again babygirl even tho I said to you early in the morning in bed! Haha. Two nights being with you is the best thing that God gave me. It felt like we were living together! From cuddling to drooling to waking up in the middle of the night and especially saying I love you to each other every night is so special. It was the best weekend of my life. San Diego Zoo giftshop on my birthday with my best friends: My mama and my baby boy♥! She bought me a hippo, a sweatshirt for him, a panda for his sister, a koala for his brother and a mug for his parents. 9:00AM to 2:00PM and ate at Hua Mei Cafe in between. Shopped at the mall across our hotel after and then it started raaaaaining, so we walked to RA sushi after and had a greatass birthday dinner. Watched Clash of the Titans in bed with babylove before we knocked out and named my Hippo ‘Perseus’ after the character and Percy Jackson. I remember waking up randomly at 2:00in the morning and bothering Kikz cos I couldn’t sleep anymore♥ Couldn’t ask for a better birthday weekend. One down, and two more California trips in the next two months together.

I am the only one that thinks the Hunger Games movie was not as great as it should have been. But then again- Show me one movie that duplicates a book perfectly and I will marry it. It did, however, influence me to adore Peeta a little more than the books. Maybe because the romance wasn’t as overplayed. Yeah. Still. Bravo to a wonderful outcome. Long live the careers of District One.
And in two days, I will be Cali bound with my favorite people. Can I just .. Sleep until then.
